High Peak Current ESD Diodes for Power Line Surge Protection
Futurewafer's high peak pulse current rated ESD diodes protect power lines
futurewafer High Peak Current ESD Diodes for Power Line Surge Protection Picture futurewafer has developed more than 30 ESD diode "FHC" models suitable for protecting power supplies (USB/power connections) in mobile and consumer equipment as well as industrial equipment device) line.
By utilizing an original high power density process, the FHC series reduces the dynamic resistance of instantly absorbing ESD and surges. Additionally, the peak pulse current is increased several times to improve tolerance and performance.
The peak pulse current rating IPP represents the lightning surge protection performance based on IEC61000-4-5. Increasing the IPP increases the level of surge protection. These products protect circuit power lines by preventing ESD and noise (induced lightning) from entering power lines and cables. They also protect and prevent malfunctions and damage caused by voltage transients during on/off operation of power supplies and equipment. In addition, they ensure a static withstand voltage of 30kV, which is comparable to conventional products, contributing to the overall improvement of system reliability.
